I am a literary translator working between Italian and English, based in Dublin. I specialise in contemporary Italian fiction, with a particular focus on the literature of bilingual and multilingual communities. I am an ATII Associate Member (Ireland) and hold an MPhil in Literary Translation with Distinction from Trinity College Dublin.

What I offer

Literary Translation (Italian to English, English to Italian, French to Italian) I translate contemporary fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction from Italian into English and from English into Italian. My work is attentive to voice, rhythm, and the cultural specificity of the source text. I am keen on challenges such as untranslatables, neologisms, play on words.

Revision and Editing I offer revision of existing translations from Italian into English, with attention to consistency, register, and idiomatic accuracy. I also revise English texts written by Italian-speaking authors.

Who I work with

I work primarily with publishers and literary agents seeking to bring Italian fiction to Anglophone readers, or English-language works to Italian audiences. I am also open to enquiries from independent authors and recruitment companies requiring high-quality literary or professional translation.
